OWP & P is a well-known architectural firm that designs many types of facilities including educational, corporate retail, healthcare, civic and mixed use buildings. When it came time to create workstations for its offices in Chicago, the firm’s own employees were asked to submit designs. The winning design utilized Unistrut’s Metal Framing and Telespar to create an industrial, yet clean and contemporary look. This design also offers the infinite adjustment of Unistrut Metal Framing coupled with the incremental adjustment of the Telespar Square Tubing. The two products combined together allow the workstations to be easily configured and reconfigured to suit their needs at any particular time.
From the multiple concepts that were presented, the Unistrut concept provided the modern, industrial look the architectural firm was seeking. Unistrut Construction was then given the task of making the design work and installing these workstations. Pre-galvanized Telespar Tubing and Unistrut P1000 HS style channel were chosen as the material’s to accomplish this unique look. Unistrut Construction provided all the material, design assistance and installation on the initial project and continues to install workstations for OWP & P as they expand their Chicago offices.
