(1) The transfastener engages with the first loop of the hanger causing the starwheel to rotate backwards while allowing the slipper to slide along the wire between the hanger legs. |
 (2) The transfastener moves further along and the starwhel continues to rotate while remaining engaged with the slipper, which is passing through the hanger loops. |

(3) The transfastener clears the second loop and continues forward with the slipper still gliding along the wire.
